Classic soul and jazz LP artwork from the 1950s and 60s is a big inspiration for the Dropscotch style.

So it makes perfect sense for the first Dropscotch LP cover art to accompany an album that reworks classic samples from the era.

Canadian musician, producer and beatmaker Soul Brother Stef got in touch to discuss a cover for new long player Aquarius.

The result weaves typography with geometric shapes suggestive of the pads that Stef so expertly manipulates to build his productions.

The album is now available on iTunes, Spotify and Bandcamp. And you're strongly advised to check out his Instagram to see the man in action.
